Appointments

Our practice specializes in urologic surgery. Our office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You need to call 785.827.9635 or 800.794.6230 between those hours to schedule your appointment.

We will do our best to honor your appointment time. We realize time is valuable, but in our specialty, surgical delays, emergency patients, and unexpected occurances may cause unforseen delays. We ask that if you were in a similar situation, the same priority attention would be given to you. If a delay arises and your time is critical, please feel free to reschedule.

Please bring the following items with you to your appointment:

• Your insurance card
• Physician referral forms if required by insurance
• A list of current prescription or over-the-counter medications you are taking, including dose and frequency
• Pertinent information about your medical and surgical history
• Any recent x-rays or appropriate records you may have

Payment and Insurance Information

Salina Urology Associates, P.A., will be happy to file your insurance. Anything not covered by insurance will be your responsibility, such as co-pays, meeting deductibles, and any remaining portion not paid by your insurance. It is also the responsibility of the patient to follow up with the insurance company to make sure the claim is paid in a timely fashion. We do accept Medicare and Medicaid assignment and are participating physicians with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of KS. If your insurance requires a referral, that referral will need to be in place before services can be rendered. Failure to have a referral will result in rescheduling your appointment.

We request payment at the time of your appointment for services that are not covered by insurance. When necessary, our staff will work closely with patients who require a payment plan.

Should an account become past due, without reason beyond 90 days, collection procedures will be taken. If you have any problems in meeting payments, please discuss this with our credit manager as soon as possible.

Telephone Questions

Our staff has been highly trained to answer most medical questions you may have and we encourage you to take advantage of their expertise. Be sure to call for a medication refill 2 to 3 days before you run out of your prescription. We need to review your chart before giving our approval, so please be sure to call during office hours.
